What Is The Gospel?
Genesis
31. The Word of God teaches us that man has fallen from God's glory. Sin was inherited to us through Adam and Eve's original disobedience. Sin has separated us from God (Habakkuk 1:13). The end result of sin is death which is eternal separation from God.(Romans 6:23)
2. God sent His Son Jesus to pay the ransom price of your sin by dying in your place (John 3:16). Only Jesus Christ could fully pay the penalty of your sin because of His sinless life.
3. It is not enough to just know about Jesus Christ and His death on the cross. You must believe in your heart an confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9)
The Invitation
YOU NEED ONLY ASK HIM
Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary, and I will give you rest." So if you ask Him, you will be accepted.
If you're not in the habit of praying, you may pray this prayer from your heart.
"Father in Heaven, I know that I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Your Son Jesus died in my place, to pay the penalty for my sin, and rose again for my salvation. I want to turn away from a life of sin. So I now ask you,Lord Jesus, to come into my heart as my Savior and my Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."
